A note from Tal
Congratulations on the new role.
The in-between deserves better than admin paperwork.
Resignation letter sent. New start date pencilled in. And then a few strange weeks where you're not quite anywhere. Winding down at one place, not yet showing up at another.
We want those weeks to feel like something. So here's a gift for you.
Up to
on us, for the in-between.
Maybe it's four days somewhere coastal, phone on aeroplane mode, no one asking when you can hop on a call.
Maybe it's that keyboard, lens, or chair sitting in an open browser tab since February.
Maybe it's taking your parents out to the place you've been meaning to take them for two years.
If it has an invoice, it counts.
How it works
- 01
Pick something good.
Up to ₹40,000. In one go, or split across two or three things. Whatever feels right.
- 02
Enjoy it through your notice period.
Pay for it yourself for now and hold on to the invoice. That's the only paperwork.
- 03
Send the invoice to Tal.
Email them over to round1@grapevine.in whenever you're ready. No forms, no approvals.
- 04
Money lands on day one.
On your first day at the new company, the full amount hits your account.
The finer details
A few things to know.
It's up to ₹40,000, and you can split it across two or three bills if you like - a stay, a flight, a new gadget - as long as they add up to the cap.
Any real invoice works. No approved-vendor list, no category rules.
Tal sends you the full amount. No T&C.
Just one thing: the invoice date should be after you've accepted the offer. This is meant to help with your notice period, not to cover older spending.
This is from Tal, aka Round1, aka Grapevine - the people who've been quietly in your corner all along. We're building this for the talent, for you. You earned this one. Go enjoy it 🧡
Enjoy the in-between.
